Mahasadashiva - Vishwaroopa darshanam

The Vishwarupa Darshanam of Lord Krishna has been elaborately described in the Gita, but few know or realize that of lesser known Shiva. This is a form of Lord Shiva that defines pure consciousness. A form of Shiva that is hard to come by. Few have sculpted His form in stone and bronze. Strangely the Vishwarupa Darshan of Shiva is very similar to what we see for Krishna/Vishnu in illustrative representations of the Gita today.

The Uttarakamikagama describes Sadashiva in white with flowing jatamukuta sinking the glowing crescent moon into His locks. He sits in Padmasana and is depicted either with 5 faces or with one face and 3 eyes - each symbolising Agni, Chandra and Surya or Iccha Shakti, Jnana Shakti and Kriya Shakti. He has 10 arms; his right carries Sakti, Sula (spear), Khatvanga (spear/tantric staff of a long arm bone with a skull at its head), prasada and the last arm is in Abhaya (Hand gesture blessing symbolising "Do not fear"). On his left he carries Bhujanga (snake), akshamala (garland of beads in counts of 27 to 108), Damaru (Sound of creation - OM), nilotpala (half opened lotus bud) and a fruit of the Matulunga (Ayurvedic fruit). He wears a yajnopavita (holy thread) and when he is depicted with one face and 3 eyes, he is also accompanied by goddess Manonmani.

The more terrific form of Sadashiva or Ughra form is 18 armed with flames rising out of His 5th head. He is alternatively found carrying the sûla (trident), pâ'sa (noose), khadga (sword), khetaka (weapon), musala (food grain), para'su (axe), ghanta (time/bell), kapâla (skull cap) among others. Mahasadashiva is described to have 25 heads (5*5) - they represent the Panchabrahmas and symbolize the 25 tattvas of philosophy.

Mahasadashiva depicts a state of mind, one which is further emphasized by the presence of goddess Manonmani alias Durga. Manonmani is a state (a mudra in yoga) where the eyes are neither closed not open, a state where breath is neither inhaled nor exhaled, and the mind is blank, it doesn't speculate or have doubting thoughts. Its after this stage that Unmani stage of super consciousness is reached. The state of the eyes when they are neither opened nor closed is called Nilotpala or resembling a half opened water lily(lotus). To reach this state of super consciousness, one needs to detach from worldly illusions and conquer their fear of death. Hence the Lord is shown in the Abhaya mudra. His various hands hold icons of this truth, emphasizing that this illusionistic world is just a facade, the real truth behind which is probably too difficult to imagine and hence is represented by the Rudra form of the terrific Sadashiva.

But the most beautiful emphasis is made to the three eyes of the Lord - Trayambaka(release from the cycle of birth and death). The third eye is typically associated with fierceness, but in reality the eye radiates a brilliant light, a kind of eye blinding brilliance which is not there in the calm of the other two eyes equated to a blooming lotus when the moonlight falls on it. Such is the beauty of Sadashiva, where coolness of the moonlit night is experienced at the same time as the brilliance of enlightenment when the fiery third eye opens one into consciousness. Such beauty can scarcely be scary except to the ignorant who fail to see the beauty if Mahasadashiva.

A quiet path to self realization brings the brilliance of Lord Shiva's Vishwarupa darshan to the mind's eye. One where the Lord presents his all encompassing form into one - Mahasadashiva roopa.

The other surviving example of Mahasadashiva is this rock cut sculpture from Elephanta caves.

Kavita, after just a cursory glance, I would like to point out that 'musala' is a pestle that is used for pulverising food grains inside a mortar by striking it vertically or at an inclination also by a person standing near the mortar...

It is different from the simple grinding wheel where two person seated opposite each other rotate a movable stone wheel over a similar but fixed one, (around their common centre), that rests on the ground, while the grain to be pulverised is slowly fed from a hole in the top wheel.

The grain thus powdered spills out over the side of the fixed one on to the floor...

A similar job in human body is performed over the food one eats by the 'batteesee', the two sets of 16 teeth each, on the upper and lower jaw of an average man...to make the task simpler for the digestive system...The batteesee is sometimes used as a weapon also!

‘Super consciousness’ is a relative term, and it is generally used in relation with God who, as per Hindus, is conscious that He exists alone amidst His innumerable images in His thoughts or dreams...

To us humans, in our ‘conscious’ state, the apparent universe is all based on relativity, that is, to our physical senses - which we know are defective or inefficent - there appears hierarchy in all aspects of ‘Nature’, between me, you and him, apparently understood as the first, second and third person respectively...

In ‘my conscious’ state, you are different from him and me, he is different from you and I, and I am different from him and you. There might appear numerous factors that apparently make us appear different - in clear cut appearances or behaviours…

But, in my ‘unconscious’ state for some time, or a state of coma for a long duration maybe, or in deep slumber in the nights, in so far as I am concerned we all virtually become non existent and, therefore, differences also do not exist between the three of us that used to appear in ‘my conscious state’. But in my wakeful condition I become aware of the differences again, particularly if we live in close proximity...

However, if he or you were to shift to some far off land physically, and we were to lose connection, in so far as I am concened, he and you both virtually gradually cease to exist for me. Thus I am apparently swinging like a pendulum between the apparent states of ‘consciusness’ and ‘unconsciousness’ from time to time, depending on various exigencies...

And, there can be another ‘conscious state of my mind’ where I practice, maybe over some time, to erace both his and your images from my mind (just as Yogis apparently did by withdrawing to the Himalyan forests, or USSR did by creating an 'iron curtain') even when he and you are apparently present close to me physically, as it sometimes happens naturally also when a person loses memory due to some accident and reaches a state of amnesia...he is conscius of the 'present' from a new date only, as a lost person...

Over a period of time, because of my consciously creating a secluded state even amidst a crowd, by practicing deliberate ‘unconsciousness’, I might thus some day consciously reach a 'super conscious' state, maybe to some exent, and I might thus perhaps 'get tuned to His frequency'. For ‘birds of the same feather flock together’!

‘Meditation’, or performance of, maybe any ‘good’, or ‘bad’, or ‘indifferent’ task on one’s hand - the generally believed notionally ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ action at the given temporal and spatial location in the ever changing universe/ ‘Nature’ - with utmost concentration apparently helps create an ‘unconscious’ state of mind (“murchit avastha”, or “ardha-mrit avastha”, that is, ‘unconscious’ or ‘half-dead’ state in sleep) of any and every individual - as conveyed through the story related to dwaper-yuga’s eldest of the five Pandava brothers, ‘Dharmaraja’ Yudhister putting on stake everything in the game even when he was a known loser, but a generally accepted one of the ‘simple and truthful’ characters that, by design, are always loved by similar ‘selfless’ and ‘truthful’ characters, but are exploited by other ‘crooked’ characters, (as also it is conveyed through Shiva-Bhasmasur story) who, like moths’ attraction towards a flame, also get attracted for some ‘selfish’ interest with the intention of causing harm, or because of their ‘natural demonaical inclination’ knowingly act as such after receiving the power, for believably ‘power corrupts’ humans only, otherwise omnipotent should have been the most corrupt being!

Eventually however, believably ‘truth prevails’ because Shiva is accepted as the ‘Beautiful Truth’ is ‘Bholenath’ the simple God, and ‘Karunanidhi’ the ocean of kindness not just in name!

A poet realizing the ‘truth’ of the ‘present’ said, “Aaankh ke andhe/ Nam Nainsukh’! That is, (today) a blind person is named ‘Bright eyed’!

However, the ‘wise ancients’ were ‘conscious’ to ‘the exceptions to the rule’, as the truthful part of the ‘natural law’! They stated, “Bhagwan ke raj mein der hai/ Andher nahin”, that is, in essence, ‘There might appear delay in natural justice, but eventually truth prevails over the untruth'. The ‘wise Hindus’ understood physical forms as illusory images of the one and only Nadbindu…

Now compare the above-cited two characters, that is, Yudhister and Shiva of Dwaper and Sat Yugas respectively, with the character of Lakshamana in treata-yuga.

The story indicates perhaps relatively greater ‘sacrifice’ on his part, for even though he was married, he decided to accompany his elder brother Rama who alone was ordered to be exiled for full 14 years, who of course later didn’t succumb to temptation when brother Bharat pleaded with him to return to ‘Ayodhya’ (near Shiva's Kashi) and occupy the throne!
And, although Sita too wasn’t exiled, not being a ‘selfish’, that is, demonaical character, she decided to accompany her husband, also because, as per the accepted practice then, a wife’s (as ‘Ardhangni’ or ‘better half’ of the spouse) place is always by the side of her husband, through thck and thin.
And funnily, ritually, even today, believed to be Kali-yuga or the 'age of darkness' and thus ignorance in the absence of light, a ‘Hindu’ even, who might take such oath in the presence of the ‘pancha-tatva’, that is, ‘sky’, ‘fire’, ‘water’ and, of course, ‘earth’ and ‘air’ go without saying, has no hesitation in copying the ‘Satanic west’ (believably ruled by Neelamber Krishna the ‘natkhat’ or mischievous Nandlal) divorce, sometimes even the next day!

It was, however, understood as part of the natural design, by ‘wiser’ ancients, the events believably being related with ‘Kal’, or ‘Time’, which was understood as a function associated with ‘Mahakal Shiva’ the Formless Controller of Time and related illusory events created by Him in a ‘super conscious’ state of mind, He Himself being related with zero time and space (and thus remains detached) – through apparent creation of and interaction between Sun-Earth-Moon, reflected in Gregorian Calendar developed in the ‘west’ in relatively recent past, and ‘Panchang’ in the Indian sub-continent followed since time immemorial!

Kavitha, Although many artistes have used their hands to show how many birds and animals can be made with their palm, I had also long ago written elsewhere to show how a 'modern Yogi' today also could read ‘OM’ by reading numeral ‘0’ (representing the unborn, ‘Brahmand’ literally ‘Creator’s egg’) as well as letter ‘O’, by joining index finger and the thumb; and letter ‘M’ (as well as a graphical representation of a river valley, say Ganga’s) formed with the three fingers when the palm is placed such that these are open and point towards the ground (and thus indicating also existence of Nadbindu at the centre of earth!).

We also read ‘JC’ (initials of Jesus Christ), (and coincidentally mine too!), ‘J’ with all four fingers placed tightly together, and the palm seen sideways, with the crook at the bottom formed with the thumb curved up.

Similarly letter ‘C’ can be read in the left hand palm by curving the fingers also, but downwards.

These together would, however, now read ‘CJ’ when one holds both left and right palms in front of the eyes, that is, the ‘Chief Justice’ that God believably is!

Thus, in order to read ‘JC’ one would need to cross the hands (reminding one perhaps of Christ’s Cross!)…

And, I can also show how to read ‘Brahma’s Lotus’ combined with the figure of ‘Bhootnath Shiva’ using both palms.

As I had elsewhere indicated, ‘Trimurty’ is formed by Shiva represented symbolically by Earth, with Sun-Moon as His eyes, and which I had indicated in human palm reflected in little finger as earth (it’s centre), Sun reflected by ring finger and Moon reflected by the Index finger...

To be able to see the graphical representational of lotus, keep the thumb (representing Mars), in both palms, joined with the middle part of the middle finger (representing Venus).

Now, hold the palm up with fingers pointing ‘sky-wards’while allowing ‘Sun-Moon’ representing ring-index fingers to join behind the middle finger and keeping little finger separated from these.

In this position one would be able to read letter ‘N’ formed when one views the back-side of the palm, which can then be read as ‘ON’ together with letter ‘O’ formed with thumb and middle finger (indicating thus that the instrument is on)!

Now, when both hands are brought close together such that the middle fingers only meet together and point towards the sky, while the portions of both the palms below the thumbs are also joined together and little fingers point outwards, one would thus see the symbolic representatin of Brahma's lotus flower.

Also one can see two eye sockets and nose in the gaps, which can then be visualized to rpresent Bhootnath when the middle finger points downwards - towards the centre of earth!

Could this just be accidental, or coincidental??!!

Kavitha, for words can't express a realization for the benefit of teh masses, in the absence of any raction forthcomig, continuing from the above comment, I thought I should add that I am able to see the said ‘third eye’ of Bhootnath Shiva fully open also! That is, when I move my hands to allow only the lower portion of my palms to separate while the middle fingers only continue to remain touching each other, and my hands remain horizontal at the solar plexus level, such that the fingers face the desred direction, say, east, to burn Bhasmasur, or Kamdeva as the case may be - depending on time...that is 'kal'

Otherwise, by manipulating the lower portion of both palms the ‘third’ eye could be seen fully closed or partly open!

With the above comments as the background, and with the apparent knowledge that earth-moon was a single Heavenly Body in space till a certain stage when moon apparently evolved from it, as conveyed by ‘modern astronomers’ also, let us consider the stressed communication in the ‘Hindu mythological story’ that “Brahma evolved from the navel of (physical) Vishnu - who remains ever in ‘Yoganidra’ while reclining on the bed formed by the celestial serpent, Ananta or Sheshanag, in the middle of the ‘Kshir-sagar’ that is ‘milky-ocean’ (alluding to our ‘Milky Way Galaxy’ that has a ‘Black Hole’ housed in its centre, that is ‘child-Krishna the grand churner who utilized celestial serpent Vasuki’ as a rope for churning/ Bhairavanath and his dog an another version) to begin with as the reflection of ‘Nadbindu’)”.

The ancient astronomers conveyed composite Earth (symbolically represented by a four-faced old man – essences of three primary colours and white) as the central figure (from original of which all physical forms had apparently evolved, including our Sun as one of the aspects of Trimurty Shiva, that is, ‘Brahma’ whose ‘head was cut by Ugra or angry Shiva’, who therafter used it as His ‘begging bowl’ (or the hard skull-bone also represented as one of His weapons)…

Joshi Uncle,The pastle & the grinding wheel are the two different methods of acheiving the same thing.Your beautiful references of the two point to the lost times where many a famous songs(oowi in Marathi} were sung with the background musicof the grinding wheel!Sometimes I really miss all these things & wonder what the so called materialist progress is worth when a mixer replaces a grinding wheel!!

JC said...

Yes, Dr Anilji, one always finds one’s ‘past’ as the relatively ‘golden time’, which made ‘ancient Yogis’ realize that ‘Time’ was moving backwards such that at any gien point in time one gets to see the status as it existed in some remote past, i.e., both the trends - the likely events in ‘future’, which actually is ‘past’, and simultaneously the ‘past’ that in fact is ‘future’ - with reference to that point in time and location…

With the above as background, one could perhaps visualize how, starting from ‘Kal-yuga’, that is, ’machine age’, human child evolved into (Hanu)man after learning ‘to stand on his own two feet’ – leaving the ‘crutches’ behind, and learn to sing, inspired by ‘OM’ the indestructible primodial sound in ‘Nature’ that continues to emanate from all and everything…

Personally, with this thought in mind, in my spare time and whenever I am alone I have attempted to sing harmonizing with the sound generated by some fan, fridge, mixi, washing machine, and so on…(During my college days, I participated in chorus songs, in ‘Community singing competition’ in which the entire college used to participate. One of my class fellows, who was a popular singer and used to be one of the members of our group, once commented that although my voice is melodious, there is present some ‘sandpaper effect’ also with it:-)

Kavitha, Dr Anilji, even play with words can be seen to act as ‘Shiva’s weapons’ while, on the other hand, music can act as a balm to a person hurt physically or even mentally. Here is another reaction to an article in my newspaper touching the damage tht can be caused by words, due sometimes to ignorance, ot lack of overall knowledge...

“Kamalesh Sharma: He’s the right choice by Shri Shashi Tharoor is quite informative (STOI).

It’s also ‘a must read’ by all senior officers in the ‘Government Service’ (a modified copy of ‘His Majesty’s Service’) to copy from when they write CCRs of officers working under them, and for them only – in the ‘right spirit of Democracy’!

Otherwise due to lack of proper knowledge of English, and also the language not having appropriate equivalents to words used by most in their local dialects that ‘Indians’ are used to speaking at home, there are instances when ‘outstanding persons’ in their eyes eventually stood out when it came to the ‘promotion’ that everyone in the service aspires for!

For instance, a ‘hard-working’ person in the boss’ eyes might get a remark ‘hardly-working’! Or, a person who gets all doubts and suspicions properly clarified - before she proceeds to take the ‘necessary action’ desired from her - might receive a remark, “of doubtful nature and suspicious character’!

And, therefore, during British rule in ‘India’, the term. “What Ghosh writes is understood by Bose”, became popular, such that the English officers didn’t meddle with the drafts prepared by clerks, despite grammatical mistakes. It was explained that the concerned thinks in Bengali and then translates it in to English. And, at the receiving end, it is read by another Bengali who had therefore no problem, possessing a similar ‘thought plane’. It applied in the early days though, and obviously not ‘today’ thanks to ‘time’ and introduction of innumerable ‘thought planes’…when the Country as a whole is heading towards retirement – having completed 60 years, the retirement age decided by the ‘Indian rulers’ (it was 55 years during the British regime, and provided extension after ‘Independence’ to 58 years, and yet another to 60 years a decade ago)!”

In a nutshell, the primordial energy, reflected by sound energy, and symbolically represented by ‘OM’ (or numeral ‘3’ as the three phases of the Formless Creator) was understood as composed of the indestructible numeral ‘0’ represented symbolically by letter ‘O’, (or Nadbindu, that is, ‘zero’ time and space) and ‘M’ as its own multiple ‘Mortal manifestations’, that is, the innumerable temporary (positive or negative, helpful or harmful) images or reflections that manifest themselves for some duration of time, relatively shorter or larger – tending from zero to infinity time and space - repeatedly in unending cycles as per a grand design…

JC said...

Once someone is taken down to the depth, one might feel wonderstruck to come to realize to the great extent the Creator has gone into the planning and execution of His Creation of infinite numbers and variety of physical forms...

Talking of Bhootnath Shiva, as Baijnath, (a misnomer of Vaidyanath that is the Divine Physican) there are certain plant life-forms that are associated with Mrityunjaya Shiva who conquered death, one such example is the Palm Tree associated with Shiva as Tardeo. It has the unique characteristic of providing a natural healthy drink, called toddy, when it is fresh in the form of a liquid that oozes from one of its components and collected in earthen pitcher tied to it at the upper region, generally by tribals in certain parts of India even ‘today’.

However, when this very liquid is kept in sunlight it ferments and becomes an intoxicating drink, which is called ‘Salphi’ in Bastar region of Chhattisgarh and is considered healthy! However, the essence in the universal saying, “Excess of anything is bad”, applies to all intoxicants and to it also. And, the ‘present day’ man apparently isn’t disciplined because of time or Kaliyuga the Dark Age…

However, perhaps mustard seed that is used by ‘Tantrics’ for control of inferior souls is the best natural example of ‘Kali’ or ‘Krishna’ the energy that believably is housed at the centre of earth, as red molten magma, as a representative of Nadbindu…

JC said...

The mustard seed is a tiny, dark, or reddish, ball-like seed in appearance. Its plant grows to an average height, and I found it a treat to watch the green stretches of ‘sarson’ fields with bright yellow flowers when I travelled on the highway from New Delhi to the foothills of Uttarakhand, as I had had the opportunity to do so on a few occasions when it was the flowering season.

Its green leaves and bright yellow flowers, reminded me of Green Earth & Yellow Moon, with Sun providing nuclear energy from a relatively long distance. The earth, therefore, required to remain in ‘Yoganidra’ with the ‘third eye’ normally kept closed, that is, cutting out harmful sunrays from reaching its surface in the interest of sustenance of animal and plant life forms on ‘earth’ with the help of Ozone layer in its gaseous atmosphere or ‘air’, in the ‘sky’, made from Oxygen the life-giving gas that when combined with Hydrogen gas in the presence of heat energy (that is ‘fire’) gives life-giving ‘water’...

Its leaves are used as a vegetable - a delicacy for the martial race of Punjab, normally bread made from corn flour eaten with lots of butter added to the green vegetable - and the oil from its seeds is used as a cooking material, particularly in West Bengal, the centre of ‘Tantricism’ or ‘Black art’ related with the control of inferior souls, or unseen ‘spiritual energy’, for various purposes, originally for cure of physical ailments, or illnesses caused due to possesion of the body by evil spirits. And, just as any advancement in technology is apparently used for ‘good’ or ‘bad’ purposes, it also is used for both – also as a weapon to harm some ‘enemy’ without his knowledge from a distance, although it was apparently developed by sages to cure through teletherapy using mantras.

The ancients or advanced persons in India had believably evolved to such an extent in ‘Tantricism’ that legend has it that the powerful Moghul Army couldn’t conquer Assam for long, as just one washerwoman wouldn’t allow any army to cross over to the boundary of Assam across the mighty River Brahmaputra…until Guru Tegh Bahadur overcame her relatively inferior ‘black art’ easily, because of his still higher elevated soul…

JC said...

A similar story is told about the visit of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu from West Bengal to Manipur that resulted in change in the life-style of Manipuris who till then felt secure on account of the presence of their ‘black art’ advisors to the King...

As per a popular legend heard from a Manipuri, the advisors were all defeated by him. The King then realized how unprotected he was till that time and therefore he ordered all literature on the said ‘art’ to be brought to Imphal and burnt in his own presence. In some distant places though, some people apparently are believed to have managed to hide some literature…

As a result people became Vaisnavites. The Radha-Govind Temple in Imphal is well known and Manipuri dances depicting stories related with Krishna’s life are famous…

Dr. Anilji, ‘Be-tal Pachchisi’, the 25 stories about ‘Truths’ (8 chakrasx3 phases possible to control + 1 under the control of the Formless not easily accesible) of the legendary King Vikramaditya and his ‘sadhana’, or attempt to control the ghost or ‘bhoot’ to reach Bhootnath, in a cryptical manner or code language conveys the truth of ‘imperfection in human life’, i.e., the untruth of Creation.

‘Be-tal’ literally means off-beat, that is, not in pace with ‘Time’ (that is, its controller Mahakal Shiva). It thus conveys that a singer might have perfected to sing in tune and in apparent beat or ‘tal’ laid down for it (ek-tal or teen-tal, say), but he/ she still might be off beat because of disharmony created on account of ‘intereference’ from other local disturbing elements which distract one’s attention and need either to be ‘nipped in the bud’, like the proverbial ‘evil’ (Mahabharata-like), or the need to withdraw self from the scene to a place where there is peace – like hurdles to be successfully encountered by a kite-flier on account of various material man-made structures, electricity/ phone lines etc, or, simply, finding an open ground...

The ancient sages, therefore, attempted to withdraw to the isolation of Himalayan forests ‘to learn to sing prperly’ directly from Bhootnath Shiva - with the beat of the Shiva’s ‘dymaroo’!

And, therefore the age old saying, “Guru Brahma/ Guru Vishnu/ Guru devo Mahesh/ Guru sakshat Param-brahma/ Tasmai Shri Guruve namah”.

But, in the ‘present’, Himalayas also are full and one hears the believable Brahma-nad-like noise everywhere. The ‘modern sage’ or ‘seeker’ in the midst of the ‘concrete jungle’, therefore, is obliged to create a 'cool cosy corner' within his mind, wherever one finds oneself to be located, unmindful of the external noise!

Anilji, the average man could perhaps be visualized ‘today’, that is, in the apparent remote past, or maybe near the remotest possible past in the life of Mahashiva, as one of His Own images in human form - that had believable started with Bhootnath’s Army with a view to overcoming illusion created by Bhootnath Shiva - which is not only ‘be-tal’ but ‘be-sur’ also, that is, off beat as well as off-tune…

Interestingly, Rakshashas were called ‘asur’ also, that is, who are not ‘sur’ the ‘devta’, who alone were believably entitled to ‘sura’ which means both, alcoholic drinks as well as water, the life-giving element, or the’amrit’ that was made possible to descend from Moon by Bhagirath (perhaps alluding to the model of child-like River Bhagirathi in the upper reaches of the Holy River Ganga) – for recycle of frozen life represented by ‘King Sagar’s 60,000 sons turned into ashes’, by Sage Kapila, ’Ugra’ or angry Shiva’s image – when 'Ashvamedha yagya' was being performed to expand the empire (at the wrong time), like ‘Suryavanshi Kings’ expanded their empire as a copy of believable expansion of its influence range by expanding Sun – thus indicting ‘Sunset’, that is curtains in so far as drama in human life on earth as the stage is concerned, during Brahma’s night waiting for Brahma’s fresh Day of over 4 billion years believably starts again!

Anonymous said...

Life is thus like a game, or an ‘open book examination’ with the whole ‘Nature’ before one’s eyes to read ‘intelligently’ - with the basic hint that whatever appears ‘outside’ is within human form as its ‘essence’, also realized in the ‘present’ too about similar behaviours of ‘microcosm’ and ‘macrocosm’ - where souls are permitted to refer to any thing and everything, or any person and every person, as Guru(s) or Superiors, with a view to reaching at the Absolute Truth, vis-à-vis the ‘Truths’ of the drama, or leela…as apparently conveyed by the ‘wiser’ ancients, that is, ‘advanced Yogis’ in the eyes of the Formless Creator…

Anonymous said...

The ancients, therefore, in order that you too see what they were able to see as the ‘Truth’, vis-à-vis ‘Absolute Truth’, believably posed questions: Who am I? Where I have come from? Where do I go from here? Has somebody sent me here? If yes, for what purpose? And, so on…

Anonymous said...

It was also believed that the more you feel resistance in the path you tread upon, the more is the possibility of your heading in the right direction (with the background story related to believable 14 years of physical suffering in exile by Prince Rama, his younger brother Lakshaman and his wife Sita, and also mental suffering of all other family members - even perhaps the ‘selfish’ character, Kekayi, repenting for her foolish act that made her not only lose her husband, but also her purpose of seeing her son Bharat on throne didn’t materialize, due mainly to lack of knowledge and, therefore, accepting foolish advise of her maid without considering all the pros and cons – and thus becoming wise only after the event, like themajority in the 'present'! And, a similar format is seen in the event related with believable exile of the Pandavas…perhaps as part of the truth that ever prevails)…

Thus, temples or places of worship of the unseen and unknown through some deity - a particular community believed in - were made at isolated locations, on top of high hills if theese were available, which needed ‘Bhagirath-like valiant efforts’ and time, not only to reach it but also to plan and construct.

‘Today’, ‘material’ has replaced ‘spiritual’, that is, apparently the spirit behind the thought is lacking due to lack of knowledge.

Of course, due to characteristic property of time, at the beginning of the ‘churning’, it would be foolish to expect a child that Krishna was and who was just born to have acted like a grown up man immediately and, therefore, four stages of time or Yuga are indicated that were apparently needed for full fleged evolution of Krishna the mortal to become Shiva the immortal reflected by Earth that holds sacred River Ganga thanks to Bhagirath's efforts…

Ganga, the Holy River, physically exists between Mansarovar Lake and the Bay of Bengal, as a model of the ‘Akash Ganga’ or the ’Milky Way’ in the ‘Sky’, or space...

And, as its model, it is represented by ‘Patal Ganga’, that is, underground water that wasn’t polluted (and become poisonous due to the effect of time today, the past of Shiva the Neelkantha) due to apparent improper planning by ‘present day’ man…and their inability to see the ‘Truth’ of Time, which is under Mahakal’s control…since eternity…

And, Ganga also flows inside the nerves of human form, or the 'Central Nervous system' and its various other connections, for the ‘modern man’, and ‘Susumna Nadi (pronounced as 'Naardi' to differentiate it with ‘nadi’ that is river, by 'advanced ancients'…

Mansarovar Lake is represented by ‘man’ that is mind, and the Bay of Bengal is represented by the tail-bone end, Ganesha the son of Parvati (eight-hnded), representative of Formless Vishnu's, or the ten-handed Shiva's consort, who resides in the human mind as essence of Moon!
Thus Mahashiva was symbolically represented, together with His better half, to sport 18 hands!

Man-sarovar indicates the source of perennial water in Ganga-Yamuna-Brhmaputra Rivers in ‘India’ the original land of Ardha-narishwar Shiva, that is, Shiva in the beginning or ‘Adi-Shiva’ believably born at Kashi (that is Varanasi today, the place identified with Rivers Varuna & Asi, where Varuna is the name of the devta related with sea-water in which all rivers lose their independent identities, and Asi means a sword – perhaps thus relating Him with mortality or Death, earth being called ‘Mrityulok, where death of physical forms is inevitable). Similarly as its model, animal or human brain or ‘mind’ is the source of flow of information through each individual as long as one exists on earth, in any particular form, believably in continuous cycles of the concerned ‘soul’ the original energy component of Nadbindu…

Water cycle is a continuous annual process, which has ‘water’ in the seas in the coastal regions of ‘India’, as the main constituent, that gets picked up as water vapours in to the ‘sky’ by the current of ‘air’ that flows in the SW-NE direction every year during the monsoon period due to unequal heating and cooling rates of land (or ‘earth’), and water during summers by sunlight, that is, ‘fire’, or heat energy…
Thus, the main participants in the water cycle are: Water, earth, air, heat energy or ‘fire’, and atmosphere or ‘sky’…These five were called the pancha-bhoota that is the five elements o ‘panch-tatva’, visualized as the five faces of Shiva the Bhootnath. Each one of these elements, or ‘tatva’, performs independently the three aspects of creation, sustenance, and ‘destruction’, (which in fact is transformation for neither matter nor energy can be destroyed)…Sadashiva was thus symbolically represented as seated in ‘Lotus pose’ or ‘Padmasan’ to represent ‘Brahma’ (who believably was seated on the lotus flower that evolved from the navel of Vishnu) or Sun as the aspect, which reflects creation, as one of the three spects of Trimurty Shiva, also visualized as His three faces…

Connoiseurs of art, thus, are able to know whether a famous painting, for example, is a fake or gnuine cretion of a particular painter…
I ‘luckily’ had the opportunity to attend a lecture cum demonstration by Pandit Onkar Thakur, the famous Hindustani Classical vocal singer from Varanasi, when I was a young boy. During that programme, he gave similar analogy. He said there is music in the entire ‘Nature’ where humans too use notes in different frequencies, even when they speak, such that the same words expressed in different tones with matching facial expressions can convey different emotions that might appear either pleasing or hurtful, or indifferent to the ear of the individual to whom these are addressed.

And, because of these characteristics, sounds produced by different motor cars, for example, enables an experienced one to identify the model of the car even…

In the Gita, with the belief that physical forms were created by sound energy, later I read how the conchshells of different powerful personalities, such as Arjuna and Krishna, produced different sounds in the battlefield, which produced opposite effects on the friends of the concerned and his foes. Krishna’s conchshell reportedly was called ‘panch-janya’, that, of course, can be understood as producer/ destroyer of the ‘panch-tatva’ or five elements that believably go in to the making of one and all physical forms…

Similarly, Krishna’s flute in ‘Vrindaban’ apparently indicates the musicl sound energy that helped growth and sustenance of physical forms of His devotees, but not His enemies (which can perhaps be also seen reflected in whistling of notes by birds, say, Koel (that is Nightingale) and Crow, both seen superficially are black (‘Krishna’), but their music has opposite effects on human minds…

As nothing is useless in God’s creation, crow also performs actions that are useful to mankind, and ancients associated crow (‘Kaga Bhusundi’) with Prince Rama in treata-yuga…

It is, therefore, not surprising to learn ‘today’ that birds are believed, rightly or wrongly, as second to man in intelligence…

This might be untrue if expertise of birds in their respective fields of ‘natural specialization’ only were to be compared with similar expertise related with human ‘specialists’ with expensive tools that preclude certain ‘materially poor’ access to the facility, and particularly without aid from external tools, which apparently alone can bring happiness to the masses, as in the prayer in Sanskrit the ‘advanced language’, “…Sarve santu sukhina/ Sarve santu nirmayah…etc” (‘happiness and good health to all’),

Some of the ancient Yogis, selfless persons or devtas, appear to have learnt even some birds’ languages and thus they could help the masses, say from some impending famine and, therefore, being forewarned, necessary action could be taken by the concerned…

Therefore, in a nutshell, apparently the overall emphasis was on learning - whatever way they could - to read the likely ‘future’ events. And in this process, the relatively highly advanced among the Yogis, that is, ‘elevated souls’, apparently reached a state where they could see ‘future events’ in their ‘mind’s eye’! And, perhaps thus realize that they were in fact seeing the 'past' – as projected by the one and only Supreme Being, and their ‘expertise’ only as an illusion or ‘Maya’!

This would bring me back to the purpose of God, who alone knows the Truth that He alone, as a point source of unique energy, ever exists, and today too. And, who apparently in the long lost past had managed to reach a perfect stage in acquiring the physical form also as His model, that is, earth, as the controller of all 10 directions – eight cardinal ones that define ideally a circle, a perfect shape on a horizontal plane in 2D, and the two directions above and below its centre, the Poles, to form a sphere, another perfect figure in 3D…
But, in order to incorporate the temporary, time related, nature of material, the shape of a fruit, that is, orange, is symbolically given to planet Earth, which in the mythological stories is indicated as the colour associated with Ganesha the all rounder son of Shiva-Parvati, that is, Earth-Moon, as essence Green-yellow colours, who was believably given charge of Earth...

The stories associate all rounder Ganesha also with Mars, the outer planet…while the concept of competition/ battles as seen in humans is introduced through race between the eldest son Kartikeya, associated with Venus, ‘the inner planet that runs faster’ and blue colour, but doesn’t provide protection to his parents, as apparently slower Ganesha or Mars does! Ganesha is also indicated as teh link between man & God, just as telephone operators in human forms function...

Thus apparently in the cosmic forms the Formless Creator, who is unaffected by time, continues to see Venus, earth-moon, and Mars to play important roles, the roles assigned to innumerable other physical forms that fill the infinite void of the universe is given due importance for sustenance of the drama...

From the above it isn't cler what He is looking for...Brahma, the Dun high up in the 'sky' believably couldn't find the end of Formless Creator, similarly Krishna as representaive of centre of earth and represented by red molten magma in the core of earth (Kali's tongue) couldn't find the origin of teh Formless...perhaps that's what He really seeks. The wise ancients however just expressed Him as unborn and unending...

Thinkng loudly, to review human form, from whatever information we have about our solar system - through ‘present day Scientists’, and as also expressed by ancient Yogis, communicated through various literatures and stories that have apparently been preserved in ‘India’ despite many catastrophic events upon the globe - it is believed to represent Mahashiva’s vital organs, in their essential forms.
Read with Krishna’s statement in the Gita about illusion, and earth as His supreme form, although he playes all the roles, he is indicated to play major triple roles: The most evolved and omnipresent Peetamber (Yellow), & Kali’s tongue (Red, arrived there through volcanic eruption like phenomenon where molten magma - although it is housed at the core - reaches the surface of earth also at times) represent the two physical eyes with which Yogis attempted energizing the ‘Third eye’, and Neelamber (Blue) represents Mahashiva’s throat, while Shiva the composite Earth (Green, the neutral colour obtained by division of black, into red and green) represents the ‘Third eye’, or ‘Ajna Chakra’ level, with Yellow above it at the ‘Sahasrara level’ or brain also (indicating symbolically the revolving Moon around earth). Orange, obtained by combination of red and yellow, represents the link housed in the lowest part of the human body (bladder), representing sea’s saline water store, and also the excretion of solids through lower instentine reflected by the silt suspended in water (at ‘Mooladhar chakra’)…Solar plexus represents White sunlight, while below it at the navel level (‘Swadhisthan chakra’) is housed the Infra-red, and at chest level (Anahat chakra) Ultra-violet is housed…

Cintinuing the loud thought, it becomes clearer to ‘me’ why in the Gita, Krishna, who believably resides within each human form, advised Arjuna to look at the tip of the nose and hear with eyes closed. Perhaps, it is for Blue housed in the throat and thus generally acts as hurdle for energy at the lower levels to then get lifted - just as when cork in a soft or hard drink bottle is uncorked - to higher levels and make ‘sangam-like’ (Rivers Ganga-Yamuna, meeting the dormant Saraswati) meeting of red and yellow in the eyes and blue to combine and result in black, i.e., the soul to rise higher, which could then further rise to the Ajna Chakra level to activate it and receive thoughts or information related to Krishna the Supreme Knowledge gradually in apparent ‘conscious’ state…which happens naturally in sleep in ‘unconscious’ state when thoughts as dreams become visible in graphical symbols and, therefore, need some expert to interpret those…

One can perhaps see how ‘experts’, 'today', themselves are not sure, or/ rather they are much more confused but would not admit they have distanced themselves to a greater extent from ‘Nature’ - as it is expressed these days, or ‘Truth’ as it was expressed by the ‘advanced’ or more evolved ‘ancients’ who because of ‘Maya’ or illusion appear as characters in the ‘past’ - a characteristic realized by Yogis to be related with Kal or Time…under the control of Mahakal/ Mahasadshiva/ Mrityunjaya or immortal Shiva, Himself related with zero time and space, understood as the cause of destruction of mortals or transient forms that are related with ‘apparent time', created by Sun, assisted by planets Mercury & Jupiter as the different unseen energies associated with Sun…other than ROYGB, the colours that are seen in the visible part of the spectrum even by inefficient eyes - associated with 'child Krishna', as 'child Shiva', that is, Bhairavanath - perhaps ‘to divide and rule over Vaishnavite and Shaivite Hindus’, while they blamed the English as responsible for doing it to rule over ‘India’! Krishna therefore says, “Surrender all your acions in ME…”!

Anonymous said...

But, Krishna, or Bhairavanath, is mischievous, for he says that, because of design, it is He alone, (as Supreme Formless being), who actually exists amidst His Own innumerable images! And, with ths background, as His image, I used to go through my own exclusive album of photographs that shows my different images after birth and onwards at a certain interval - me looking different from one photo to another - till the ‘present’, and wonder who among those is the real me, and what is my purpose in reviewing those from time to time – just for fun now, as at a certain stage I gave up! Similarly, has He too givn up – but doesn’t destroy the images, for maybe someday some Birbal-like character might pop up and solve the puzzle!

I, as the head of the food chain in the 'animal world' on earth, come to learn that my brain is an analogous computer that is shut off only when I die, that is, cease to exist in the 'present form'...

Thus, logically, my form must be connected to some source of energy, such as, directly to the external solar system, and also indirectly to these through 'food items' etc. as store-houses of energy - the content and quantity of which might vary from person to person - through some in-built mechanism within the body depending on the species concerned…

'Hunger', thus, is the apparent cause, or the driving force, for ‘normal humans’ to perform physical actions compulsorily, and with proper ‘mental balance’, for delivering happiness to the concerned society…

I, as an instrument for multiple functions, am thus apparently ‘on’ all the time, 24x7, since my birth - having come into independent function after my separation from the parent body. Thus this particular instant perhaps determines my behaviour, for I observe that although there might appear similarities, say in appearances in complexion of skins, black or white or yellow etc., likes and dislikes of two ‘whites’ or two ‘blacks’ or two ‘yellows’, and so on, may be, or may not be, identical…but as per the saying carried forth since long, “Birds of the same feather flock together”, thus there is possibility of placing groups of persons in perhaps limited different categories…

In order to seek the common factor in human behaviours, one can notice that, irrespective of location or time, say when examinations are conducted (for, in essnce, human life is realized as an examination), marks obtained by students vary, say from 0 (such as those students who ‘drop out’) or near 0%, to 100% (rarely) or near 100%, while the average of the group might vary between certain range of maximum and minimum, whch would apparently be explained due to a wide range of factors…perhaps beyond human control because of various circumstances…

In view of the above, perhaps the ‘advanced Yogis’ realized some unseen unique external agency as responsible for the creation, sustenance and transformation of the physical universe in a cyclic fashion – and ‘Hindus’ or ‘Indians’, therefore realized Him as immortal, or ever existing, Mahasadashiva...

In essence, what apparently matters is the content in any language, and not the language itself, for it is merely a medium- just as human beings also are, as multiple-function instruments of the formless being for various purposes known to Him alone (therefore called Supreme Knowledge)...

His purpose, as the ‘Decision Maker’, is beyond human beings comprehension, (being mere inferior instruments), mainly because of lack of essential overall knowledge of ‘Nature’, as part of the design, and not on apparently negligible life-span, compared to immortal Shiva’s (earth as on of teh images) and also to many other nautral features on earth, as individuals are given to understand by negative Gurus – that also as part of design!

‘Good’ or ‘bad’, is only a state of mind, For example, some characters appear to prefer ‘Shit’ (as an offensive item), a favourite food of pigs, that are one of the innumerable forms of animal world that ‘Hindus’ believed as the ‘third re- incarnation of Lord Vishnu', or ‘Nadbindu’, as the original Creator, which literally means ‘poisonous atom’ (‘Visha’ means poison, plus ‘anu’ means atom), thus conveying the spirit in reality, that is, every form is performing some useful purpose for Creator, be it that of a ‘pig’, or ‘shit’ that acts as fertilizer for plant life, and in raw form itself as food for pigs, and also many other life-forms!

Thus the ancients saw Him reflected in everything! And, therefore, the ‘wise ancients’ exclaimed, on realization of the ‘Truth’, “Shivoham!” That is, "I am HIM"!

However, it still doesn't help reach what He seeks!

In this context I get ‘recall memory’ of my visit with my school-day friends to a fete, or ‘Mela’, where I saw ‘magical mirrors’ for the first time. And, not knowing what to expect, we were wonderstruck to see our own unbelievable reflections as we passed in a queue, in front of a number of mirrors, one by one, that each one of those apparently reflected unimaginably different form of the same individual, for till that time we were used to see reflections in plain mirrors only, which only reverse the reflection along a vertical plane!
Now, thus as per the ancients’ believable realization, each individual, or a thing, is a reflection of the lone Formless Creator just as any single person sees one’s own different looking images in numbers of inferior man-made Magical mirrors at the same time…or even the plain mirror! All images and individuals, or things, also thus conveyed buy wiser ancients as images of the Formless Creator, the unique energy, whose reflections can be seen in images formed in thin air through laser beams in the ‘present’ that is, in fact, ‘past’ of Mahasadashiva!

Kavitha, I saw your comment only after I had already posted my last comment, for I believed nobody was interested :-) Sorry!

I hope that by now you know my nature, that is, I keep on expressing the thoughts - like transferring garbage from one place to another - that keep on popping up into my ‘trash bin’, like the chain reaction that apparently was triggered by some unseen force in the stars!

That’s how the brain also works. A single word can take you on a ‘space travel’ to the farthest corner of the universe!! “A poet reaches the place where even sunlight cannot reach”!

My wife also once commented why I talked of God when no one was interested, and that I didn’t even notice that our guests/ visitors were yawning!

I told her that I have so many questions and I would lilke to know their answers, and what I speak is primarily for my ears (for a speaker is obliged to hear, perhaps himself/ herself alone sometimes whatever words he/ she believably addresses to others) hoping those would reach ‘natkhat Nandlal’/ Bhairavanath, who believably resides within me, and would therefore some day provide the answers – for He is a Guru, who is in Yoganidra, and not in KUmbhakarna like sleep!

As per ancient belief, there is delay but not injustice in His regime!

In essence, Yogis, the advanced scientists, who apparently went to greater depths or, in reality, were taken to greater depths by Yogiraja Krishna - as it is also indicated in the Gita that only ‘suurender in Him’ can lead you to Supreme Energy - stressed on overall discipline in life, such as ‘Pranayam’** or ‘controlled breathing’ while seated in ‘Lotus Pose, that is, sitting straight in ‘Padmasan’ in some neat and clean environment on some animal skin or a piece of cloth, (“Cleanliness is next to Godliness”), facing the direction of sunrise, that is, East (with Sun in mind as the ruler of physical world during the day, the ‘ugra roop’ or angry form, that is, fire as one of the aspects of Trimurty), or North (where the more distant Pole star or the ‘fixed star’ is believed as symbolically representing the Formless Creator who is unmoved or ‘fixed’, as the detached ruler of the entire universal void, while Moon (during the night, when it becomes cooler) acts as the ‘mohini roop’ or attractive form of Vishnu, as the brain behind ‘Maya’ or the illusory world/ universe, the innumerable physical forms that fill the universal void as symbolic representation of various components of energy – including various animal forms to represent varying intensities of energy from near zero and ending to infinity)…
** ‘Pranayam’ or controlled breathing involves inhalation of air into the lungs and diaphragm to full capacity followed by stopping inhalation and consciously holding the breath for a few seconds, to reflect the ‘unconscious’ state before starting exhalation (with the knowledge that unlike earth moon doesn’t have an atmosphere)…

Raga Bhairava was evolved by sages to be sung in the ‘Brahma-muhurt’, that is, early morning, which necessited a ‘brahma-chari, or -charini’ to wake up early… If one is lucky, one of the Mothers, out of ‘Treyambika’ the three mothers, that is, energy associated with Sun. Earth, and Moon respectively would shake one up with early morning ‘earth tremble’ or ‘mild earthquake, to caution indisciplined man…That’s why perhaps many catastrophic earth quakes occur in the early mornings and catch ‘indisciplined people’ napping…

Personally, I was witness to a strange phenomenon in Guwahati in the year 1982, (numerologically represented by 2 as the sum of all digits), to me on 30th December, the date I remember because on that day lunar eclipse was to occur (and Moon, Yellow as evolved colour, is considered second to Sun, red hot as ‘fire’ in he beginning, before it grows to become White hot) and there had been a mild rainfall before I left the residence. I don’t know why, but before leaving I told my wife that earth-quake would occur that day. And exactly at 2 PM I was shaken up when I was seated in a chair on the 2nd floor of the office building and was about to fall of the chair that virtually swung like a pendulum with increasing tilt with each shake – but luckily for me it stopped. However, 3 more after-shocks were felt every 2 hours, at 4, 6, and 8 PM creating panic among the residents...
Only next day I read in the newspaper that people were reminded of the devastating earth-quake that had occured on the 15th August 1950 (at night though) that changed the geographical features of Assam – Sadiya Town was completely wiped out by the mighty Brahmaputra that had got dammed naturally, because of occurrence of massive landlides in its hilly reach upstream before it enters Assam from ‘Arunachal Pradesh’, which was the burst by the swelling water behind the natural ‘rockfill dam’. This changed not only the course of the river, but also the life of the Assamese…but, that is history now…and all forgotten!

In the ‘present’, History assisted by Archeology, Geography, Geology, Astronomy, and so on, ‘unfortunately’ takes the ‘learned one’ to a limited past of the eternal or immortal earth (which is nt believed by west today)...

Whereas, ‘Mythological Stories, read between lines’ alone can perhaps take one to at least know, for example, that man is only an instrument, or a multiple-function machine of the immortal Formless Creator, made ‘in His Own image’, as the essence of the infinite ever expanding universal void that holds innumerable forms within it, as the physical universe floating in space – like suspended matter in water - where the forms also are expanding, just as mammals are known to grow to maturity, starting from a tiny seed sown inside the womb of the female partner of a couple – Shiva& Parvati/ Earth& Moon, where Moon itself originally was a part of Earth-Moon, as one single form, as Adi Shiva with abode at Kashi, whose ‘Ugra Roop’ and ‘Tandava Nritya’ fills fear in the minds of the devtas (selfless persons, who have no or less attachment with material) also – unlike Krishna’s ‘conchshell’ that created panic among demons only (i.e., selfish persons, who give importance only to ‘Gold’, llke the proverbial ‘King Midas’, who foolishly desired to turn into gold whatever he touched – and realized his mistake, like all after the event wise persons today, when his darling daughter also turned into gold in his lap. Compare it also with Shiva-Bhasmasur story popular in ‘India’)!

Kavitha, I am sure you would get time to go through the loud thoughts.

Thus continuing with the thought, the ‘ancient Indians’, (in the words of the ‘present’ head of the animal world, that is, Man as ‘Truth’ continued since time imemorial), or the ‘advanced Yogis’, (who reflected similar characteristics nearly that of Yogeshwar Mahasadashiva, the perfect being or ‘Trimurty’, as one of the most evolved models of the entire physical universe, or ‘satva’ that is ‘essence’ thereof, that helped reflect characteristic properties related with time from zero to infinity in the process of evolution of Bhairavanath/ Krishna), had realized human being as a multiple-function instrument…

The ‘present day’ apparently man-made machines or various equipments, designed to perform the various purposes as needed from time to time by human beings, (as copies of already existing functions observed to be performed by some ‘animal or objects’ since long), and therefore the saying, “Necessity is the mother of invention”, reflects the basic modus operandi of the Formless Creator from time to time, from Kaliyuga to Satyuga...He would thus have been happy with his efforts in different forms, that led Him to achieve perfection - in the 'past' - for now it is believed to be only illusory projections in Mahasadashiva's 'mind's eye' or 'Third Eye'!

JC said...

The Hindu Mythology indicates the physical universe to appear like the internal organs of Mahasadashiva who is continuing to expand with time - like a balloon (Lambodar or 'big bellied', in the words of ‘Hindus’) – and He is apparently still growing and, therefore, is yet to reach maturity - like a human child.

In other words, perhaps we are given to view His Past when He was a child, whhich maybe our own past, or/ rather 'my own past' – in the words of the ‘realized souls’ who were able to 'merge the self in the Formless Creator', like all rivers (Gurus) - and thus indirectly all rivulets (Shishyas or students) too - merge in the sea!

A river is observed by ‘Nature lovers or poets’ to reflect essentially human behaviour as part of the grand design, from birth to ‘death’, whhich is realized as merely losing independent existence of individual forms and getting transformed in to the ‘panch-tatva’ – like all stage actors return the items of their make up used in the drama to their respective suppliers loaned to the 'Producer' through various concerned agencies who all play roles ‘behind the stage’, virtually remaining unseen or unheard of, like ghosts, the ‘bhoots’…

JC said...

Confined within earth’s atmosphere, and upon it, and under it also, ‘Water’ (the omnipresent under the ‘sky’), one of the colourless like ‘air’ ‘panch-tatva’ or ‘five elements’, is designed to act as mirror that is glass also, (which is made from sand with the help of ‘fire’), as it is known to every ‘normal adult’…

In a larger sense, it reflects all characteristics of the ‘soul’, the unseen unique energy within each form, which basically, in fact, was realized to symbolically represent energy. For example, with reference to earth - and other Heavenly Bodies too - it gets reflected in the form of its gravity and energy that has gone into the material form, and also cosmic energy absorbed by it daily, and surplus released by it for the sustenance of the believable immortal form…

It is therefore interesting to learn that, unlike India, the USA doesn’t allow tapping of its ground-water resources that reflect the ‘roots’ of water!

This phenomenon itself reflects the thoughts of inhabitants of both regions related with the’spiritual’ also – ‘Hindus’ that is ‘Indians’ or the
‘inhabitants of East’, have a natural tendency to attempt reaching the roots of the apparently innumerable ‘Truths’, whereas the ‘West’ - perhaps comparable to a ‘blinkered horse’ - shuts away any attempt to reach the ‘roots’!

JC said...

In India, although tapping of ground-water resources is continued since time immemorial, which also gets reflected in the story of Arjuna making ‘Ganga water’ available to Bhisma Pitamah even in the battle field in Kurukshetra - just by striking an arrow in the ground – there also exists a saying in Hindi, “Ati ka bhala na barsna/ ati ki bhali na dhoop. Ati ka bhala na bolna/ ati ki bhali na chupp”, that is, to the effect, “Excess of anything is bad”…Which obviously also applies to tapping of ground-water, in excess of the recharge during the rainy season...

Krishna, in the Gita, blames lack of overall knowledge for all ‘wrong’ actions...

An example of this phenomenon, related with ground-water, could perhaps be seen in the excess withdrawl in the coastal region of Gujarat, in a particular case that resulted in saline water from sea to rush into that region and, therefore, needing remedial measures to revive the land. It could perhaps have been prevented if Nathji willed it so and had given necessary thought to someone among the concerned…

In the USA, in the past, it is told that the people in the desert region in the west, where there was shortage of surface water, were, in fact, drilling for tapping of underground water. However, (thanks to mischievous ‘Krishna’), they accidentally hit the ‘black gold mine’! And, that became the cause of the saying, “Where there is oil, there are Americans’!

It was the 'yellow gold' that had originally brought all adventurers to the original land of the ‘Red Indians’, from all over the world, to the virgin land.

It reportedly happened thanks to some people who had earlier reached the relatively easily accessible eastern coast and had found gold particles in the river. And, the news of this finding apparently resulted in the ‘great gold rush’…

If the people are physically tough, like Kartikeya/ Ravana believably were, and also they are materialists, Hindu Mythology could easily be found handy to explain it, only if Mother Parvati were to will it so, or if it naturally were to be Sat-yuga, and not Kali-yuga the ‘dark age’, the beginning stage when poison had believably emerged, which is found today in air, water, food, minds, and so on!

Only Shiva (immortal Earth) the Neelkanth can consume it, if He is requested…

But, majority east even is also following in the footsteps of the ‘west’, (for “vinash-kale/ vipreet buddhi”, that is, man gets opposite or 'wrong' thoughts when end approaches)!

The story of ‘Mahabharat’, in Dwaperyuga, indicates Delhi named Indraprastha then to be under the rule of blind Kuruvanshi King Dhritrastra and his son Duryodhan, representatives of planet Venus that believably controls the ‘material’ aspect of physical forms...

In the believable evolutionary process starting from Kaliyuga, they would reflect the ‘souls’ who had successfully managed to pass over from the end of Kaliyuga, the first stage of ‘churning of the milky ocean’ by the representative of Saturn, that is, planet Jupiter (Krishna, that is, physical Vishnu) as members of the solar system that hadn’t evolved completely and, therefore, were still imperfect in so far as the physical appearances, or their capacities were concerned. Eventually during this second stage, Krishna the centre of our galaxy reflected by Jupiter as its essence, the ‘panch-bhoota’ reflected by the Pandava brothers would have evolved further, with Krishna, having enlarged His empire would rule from ‘Gujarat’ (Now Narendra Modi’s!)…

The corresponding souls would then have evolved further in the Third stage, called Treta-yuga, as Suryavanshi Kings with Rama as the ‘purushottam’ or the best model of Sun, to eventually become the ‘Trimurty’ in the Sat-yuga…
Of course, Venus would have found representation in the forms of Ravana in Treta-yuga, and as Bhasmasur etc. in the early period of the Fourth Stage, till at the end of it perfection in physical form, as composite Gangadhar Shiva or Earth, would have reached after which He woiuld have instantaneoiusly reached His original form of Nadbindu, the Formless Supreme Being, called Bhootnath who continues to ‘enjoy’ projections of His Past life stories since then within His ‘Third Eye’…reflected by Ajna Chakra in apparent human forms…

To round up, the recent incidents in India highlighted disturbances among residents, in the west and also the east of India, reflecting the destructive energy, the believable Ma ‘Kali’/ Ardhanarishwar Shiva’s consort ‘Sati’, whose suicide in ‘sacred fire’, in the beginning (of evolution), in its wake believably wreaked havoc among the populace in Daksha Prajapati’s empire by Shiva’s army (alluding to the panch-bhoota) – first due to Tandava Nritya or earthquake in Bhuj, and later the fire in Godhra and Ahmedabad, the capital of the state, in Gujarat, and ghost-like dance in ‘Nandigram’ in West Bengal…Perhaps mischievousness of Krishna reflects from the names, ‘Narendra’, that is, Indra-devta (Sun) in human form as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, and ‘Buddhadeb’, as the Chief Minister of West Bengal, the name that is associated with ‘bodh’, that is, realization of ‘Absolute Truth’, ‘maun’ or silence - in reality in the ’present’ the existence of peace and nothing but peace, that one wishes to the ‘departed souls’ the bhootas who are controlled by Bhootnath (who is in peace and eternal bliss that believably follows a Mahabharat-like battle, or Kalinga-like war that made Emperor Ashoka to realize the futility of wars – that anyway appear to happen again and again because of ‘churning’ that was continued through four stages in the ‘past’)…
In Hindi, the day that’s gone (‘yesterday’, for the ‘west’) as well as the day that would apparently follow the ‘present’ (‘tomorrow’, to the ‘west’) both are called ‘kal’ based on the realization that ‘Kal’ the Time is under the control of Bhootnath, the Lord of the Past!
