Home is where the soul belongs

Home! Home means different things to different people. Home means family to some and complete intrigue to others. I have a home, what I call family, familiarity, security… home, that which we all cling to. Home, a place where a bunch of scared souls live, saving each other from the final reality…when its seriously time to depart…

Home, is where the heart is! Home is where there is excitement unknown, when the heart yells out and says, this is a free world and I can do what I want and not care about it… My heart is free, my mind is free, and my life is free. I am free. Free from all that I call bondage, expectation, contempt, control, power… life?
Home is where the mind decides it has had enough; where the mind decides it wants to rest because it can’t handle anymore of the stupidity this world around displays thinking it is attitude. The mind rests, evolving suddenly, waking up to the reality called LIFE, and that is the only one I get and what the hell am I doing wasting it with a bunch of nonsensical thoughts!!

Home is where silence resides, in the deep corners of the mind, revived every time the mind takes a dip into life as it is and escapes from all that we call responsibility and role play… Home, where its my world, the world I make for myself and anyone who loves and appreciates the value of this life and its true meaning is invited…

Home is where the Lord lives, silent watching and waiting for me to go back to. Home where the Lord, just overwhelms me with Himself, and I simply get distracted and looked around for Him in people… what a fool I have been. The Lord is ever so pervasive, ever so kind and loving, ever so sweet, ever so overwhelming that words are not enough to express His beauty. Wow! what a character, what a feeling… that the Lord can trigger this ecstasy, this bliss, this intoxication, this wildness, this fire, this energy, this excitement, this happiness, this awakening, this life inside me without even revealing Himself!

What are we wasting our lives for, taking care of each other when we are all going to go home alone, anyway… why is it so tough to accept this truth that your way and mine are the same back home, just timed differently…
It’s a dark forest, of fear and suffocation… but it’s the way home, the last walk home, with peace and faith that Lord Shiva is there to guide, divine Lord.. Oh God take me home!!

Infact in the current state i am in its just ... HHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM.... i think you get the drift!

Hi Kavitha,
I thought you were lost :-)
To save time, I give below what I wrote recently to one of Benu's friend...

"Fear is a natural instinct because of apparent hierarchy and existence of opposites. It cannot be avoided by anyone – so rest at peace. Even the most powerful human beings have always looked up towards a ‘superior force(s)’ for help ‘when the going became tough’ at a certain stage (mythological stories have many such examples)… Thus why wait for that exigency to occur? Why not remain ever conscious of Him/ Her/ it, or the ‘two sides of the same coin-like Black & White’ that form the apparent temporary body, (Brahma) Sun or Ma Gouri, or Rama, and the core of earth or Ma Kali, or Krishna, that together help contain within the body the inert third side-like ‘soul’ or the unending energy, the real witness, formless Vishnu?

Life is like a game of ‘rope-skipping’, an example I choose for girls as it is one of the games that I believe every young girl is aware of and has taken interest in at some time or the other… (As a young boy, I have observed many times my sisters and her friends in our colony do it, either alone, where there was no competition or ‘inferiority complex’ involved, or as a team game, where there was competition - a hierarchy naturally set up because of different capacities and some girls invariably failing to jump properly and getting soon ‘out’ while some appeared never to get out, and enjoyed the game, satisfied/ proud of their performance…)

They used to decide which two girls would make a slack rope go around generating an imaginary globe, (and today, I can see it as deciding the points that would act as North & South poles, that help the earth rotate, around its axis passing through these two :-)

After they had set up this system at some uniform speed, one ‘actor would enter the stage’ and play her role as long as she could, i.e., keep on jumping such that her feet do not get entangled with the rope. She could at some stage get out of it without causing any interruption, and rest, waiting for her turn again after the last jumper in queue… Thus one by one all girls participated in the game, including the one who had earlier managed to remain ‘not out’. The girl who got out used to replace one of the girls who held the rope, and the next one out would replace the other one… The game could go on eternally thus…

Hi Felix, Kavitha…

Felix, I found Kavitha say, “It’s a dark forest, of fear and suffocation… but it’s the way home…” that’s why I gave my interpretation of the intended mute communication all around, even in simple appearing games, viz., kite flying, skipping rope, and so on, which we, the images in His/ Her/ its mind, generally take for granted, unless told/ becomes known to a seeker His/ Her/ its style of functioning :-)

And, all this was understood to happen within the head of the dot or the formless Creator :-) Isn’t it a highly advanced stage of IT? The unborn ever enjoying itself, while His ‘intelligent’ images apparently are lost :-)

It makes a Hindu say, "Hari Om!” And an Englishman, “Hurry home!” The two have entirely different nuance… Kavitha has also tried to communicate the same :-)

Another example, in English, name of a ‘spirit’ is Chiva’s Regal. And, on the other hand, a Hindu associates spirit with Shiva, and Moon or Parvati :-)

Doesn't it appear to be mischievous in nature?

It is within each one of us and yet one is looking for it outwards - like the musk deer, that man cites as an example, but doesn't believe it possible to be the same case with him because of 'mental barrier' the key to which it alone holds :-)

there is truth in the post... a lot of mind rattling truth which i thought of posting ... fearlessly...

the question is why is there this fear.. and there is only one way of solving it, answer it and dont live with it...

a fearless life... is worth it. (at least for the greater part)

Hi "Leaves"

Thanks for the name of the song. I will try to find out more on his version of the dance of Lord Nataraja.

Tagore is a class apart, am sure the song will be completely profound!

Thanks again.

Hi Kavitha…

Yes they too worshipped Sun God, Ra (?)… Like Hindu mythological stories indicate head of animal attached to a different human body for Ganesha, the Sphinx in Egypt indicate the reverse, i.e., human head transplanted over animal body, and so on…

As I have understood from ‘Hindu’ mythological stories’, the statement, ‘Brahma has four faces’, read together with the present day knowledge that our sun (Brahma/ Rama/ Arjuna in human form), combined with moon (Saraswati/ Sita/ Draupadi) - as like a mirror it reflects all the sunlight from its surface - cover the entire globe, i.e., all four cardinal directions… Tides created by moon, in comparison with that produced by sun alone, is found to be twice in height, thus indicating greater power vested upon the Guru or Moon…

The stories also indicate Adi Shiva’s birthplace at Kashi. This perhaps indicates the realization that ‘India’ is the ‘original’ and stories in other regions are ‘copy and paste’ but with a difference, i.e., unlike in the present, all look original, the regional effects having been taken into proper account:-)

what have you taken away?

a shadow of chaos as perceptions diminish
once we experienced paradise,
childlike and innocent

a feverish vision of a memory

i see you to see the light
i see you to seek the light

Hi 'pastmaster' and all...

Surdas and Stephen Hawking
Demonstrate outward appearances
Result from ‘Maya’ or illusion.

It is simple Shiva’s ‘third eye’
Or ‘divya chakshu’
Of playful Krishna
Or simply a ‘child’s eye’
That’s needed to read ‘Nature’
To have a glimpse of the ’Truth’
Or one’s real formless ‘Self’
The unborn ‘spirit’ within each
That alone can bring awakening
From a long stupor
An intoxication
Of a different kind…

Hi Kavitha, Felix...

A child has a very good observation power but a poor analytical power. However, the same child, like an inverted image, when it grows, attains high analitycal power and a poor observation power! There, of course, would be many variations in the extent of these properties, from one person to another, in conformity with other variety in other aspects of 'Nature'...

The word 'Yoga', i.e., addition, could be understood to have many meanings...to me it also means visualizing unison of a child's head and its own head, after maturity at a later date, which could help 'Ganesha' meet 'Mother Parvati' or the person to 'realize the Truth'...

Hi Uncle, K, all,
For ages now, I've been hearing a truth that this post now makes it more vivid...
For instance, in the form of
Christianity, "your home" is regarded as in the Hands of the Father.

And in another form, Home is the place you join the Greater.

In a form I've been believing, it is in the mind, where one(or I) feels (like how K describes in this post)... a place that leaves nothing else to matter.
A Home that has no definition of boundaries.
A Home that is completely free.
A Home where I truely belong.
A Home where I was always been welcomed and wanted.

I may not be exactly right relate my belief with this post but I see it that way as I belive only the same person can look at the same thing the same way. As a gift/curse one can maybe look at it the same way and even maybe understand, but not feel it the same manner. (If it does, then probably it is the same person)

Uncle, I feel its pretty much like how you said about the Egyptians and Indians both looking at a God but at slightly skewed angles.
Leaving a stark truth: Ultimately what matters isn't how you see it, it's what you see.
Though the world propogates on how you see it.
Then again, we may not all feel the same way :)

Hi {PastMaster},
Very Interesting poem, but I see many angles of it... don't know which one you mean. Or maybe you have seen it in an eye that I haven't. I'd love to hear your interpretation, if you do not mind and or have the time for my thirst.

Hey Vishesh,
By any chance did you happen to be at NIIT, Adayar?
Just an attempt to know if you were an old and very very different and interesting friend, I used to know.

Hi Felix…

For a ‘Hindu’, the 'real home’ of all forms is a dot, formless energy, and therefore indestructible :-) All other forms/ homes are ‘images’ or imaginary - apparently made of destructible exterior - of the one and only Creator…

Conforming to the believable versatile human eyes and his brain as a perfect analogous computer, let us take up a figure in the form of numeral 5 (Panch Parameshwar or literally the 'five gods'), the magic number, for instance…

I have tried to show earlier also how it can be seen, along with its image in a vertical plain mirror, to represent from a seed to a fruit to a large tree under the ground depending on the size of the numeral (a seed, anyway apparently, contains within it the tree in a miniscule form)...

Now, if these two images are again seen in a horizontal mirror, it could be visualized to represent, from a small plant germinating from a seed, in the initial stage of its growth, to a fully grown tree if the image above the ‘ground’ only is imagined as enlarged, the lower being frozen…

I also see it as a balloon with a basket attached to it/ an unseen flier of a kite for flying high up in te ‘sky’…

The property of an image is that it appears as distant behind the mirror as it is in front of it. Therefore depending upon the location of the image, the ‘home’ of all forms or images would appear nearer or distant… It is thus a matter of 'fine tuning' of mind together with a firm belief, otherwise an image, like a balloon/ a kite would keep on flying high or low wherever air takes it, away from ‘home’ unaware of the location where it had originally started from/ the ‘flier’ :-)

The present disturbed minds of the youth or the 'future' of the country seen on the streets all over the country, particularly near the Parliament House in the Capital, (from where energy is supposed to flow outwards), perhaps could be said to reflect the overall sad 'spiritual' status or how distant 'time', like air, has taken all balloons and kites away from 'home' :-(

Hold on, maybe it is a sign of 'mass awakening', i.e., awakening of the one and only Formless Shiva/ Vishnu, from a long stupor :-)

Hi Kavitha, Vishesh and Felix…

On the subject of people living in the same 'home' etc...in a lighter vein - although it doesn’t apply to Felix and Vishesh as such - that conversation reminded me of a joke: It appears that a senior and a junior person were sharing the same table in a restaurant in New York. After some time they started talking to each other:
1. Where do you come from?
2. India.
1. I also come from India! Which city?
2. New Delhi.
1. I also live there! Which Colony?
2. Karol Bagh.
1. My Goodness! I also live there! Which house?
2. 6/ 12 WEA.
1. What a coincidence! That’s the house where I too live!

To the disappointment of the other visitors, they walked off at this stage! For, during this period, others in the restaurant were naturally excited to overhear the bizarre coincidence that persons belonging to the same house in India were meeting like strangers in a foreign country and were curious to know how it happened so!

The waiter explained that the two were father and son, were regular visitors and had the same conversation every time after they had had a couple of drinks :-)

HI Kavitha, Felix, and others…

Tribal art, where man is represented by straight lines and similar sketches also tried by small children even today, perhaps could help understand the unborn Creator’s vision or dream to a certain extent (if one is a believer :-)…

Let us take up our Sun, the source of energy represented by the numeral four - as I had elsewhere explained in the graphic representation of the order of the solar system members – written with the upper part open, (when it is closed we saw how it could be read as an arrow when seen together with its image against a vertical mirror). It can be imagined as formed with letters L and I… Now, if the numeral four written so is read along with its image on a vertical mirror, it would appear like Shiva’s ‘Trishool’ or ‘Trident’ . The whole figure, when seen together with its image on a horizontal mirror would appear like a human form with hands raised high up over the head, neck represented by the middle line (drawn shorter) and attached with a zero or ‘o’ over its upper end to represent the blank human head indicating negligible utilization of unlimited potential of 'grey cells' :-)…

Hi Kavitha, Felix...

There is a belief that teeth act as storage spaces, like books, for record of one's past lives...

Children are born with clean slates, so no teeth, like the unborn and unending Formless Creator or the Supreme Knowledge and, thus, close to it. 'Time' is believed by 'wise ancients' to be travelling from 'perfect' stage (Satyuga) to 'imperfect' stage (end of Kaliyuga), i.e., from where the 'spiritually perfect' He/ She/ it had originally started for attaining perfection in 'material field' also...

It is believed that the child is born wise and knows its past, as long as it doesn't start growing teeth. And, it expresses happy emotions with smiles and sad ones through bad facial expressions - in sleep...

It is believed that when some past account is cleared, a tooth falls. Children lose all their teeth by a certain stage and grow new ones which carry the record of future events. These then fall off one by one, naturally, or sometimes from some sudden blow/ removed by dentists!

Although there are various possibilities, generally speaking, at a certain stage, one might reach the toothless stage - close to the unending Formless once again or one's real 'home' - managing with dentures perhaps and waiting for the right time...

I read it reported some years ago in a newspaper that an aged Chinese woman got naturally rejuvenated (it is known that they generally practise Acupuncture for health-care and it is believed that the 'rejuvenation point' lies below the navel) and her grey hairs turned black and she grew new teeth (A fresh account was thus reopened in a rare case, like the belief of resurrection of Christ)!

PS> It is also believed that Jesus had acquired powers to cure blind and lepers just by touching them. And, these days 'Acupressure Technique', in which one's palm/ fingers/ thumb are used to 'energise specified points for cure of various ailments, has gained popularity all over the world as it can be administered to self also :-)
