The temple of the Self
A beat of the drum
A tap of my feet
A move of my limbs
A strange freedom of the senses
A constant vibration
Deep within the heart
A new world revealed
A gateway to leave human bondage
A stretch of my breath
A long stretch so fulfilling
Purity of the self
Fresh like the morning dew
Constant warmth within
A flame lit up forever
Igniting my passion to live
A life of my own
A source of energy
My elixir of life
My potent energy within
The Lord takes control of me
I am just a moving body
A world elsewhere
A place no one else belongs
A world divine
My body a temple
To worship
Built strong to house
The divine Lord within
My head the pinnacle
Of all thought and action
Of goodness and value
Of faith and complete surrender
The path to heaven
A path through me
A part to the greater truth
Why seek for it beyond me?

Very Interesting Drift :)

Hi kavitha,
You seem to have reached the stage of realization of ‘self’, where one can see one’s own reflections in the ‘past’ (starting from ‘zero’, leading to apparent physical forms, viz., ‘non living’, ‘plant life’, ‘animal life’, and so on, say)/ ‘present’ apparent human form, or extended into ‘future’ - back to dust again, (which, in fact, is also ‘past’ :-) in all that one perceives in ‘Nature’…
Of course, even apparently ‘big characters’ appear to have faltered at times as there are hurdles or barriers to test one from time to time (as mythological stories also indicate) :-)
Best wishes!
Hi Kavitha, Fellix, and others…
Continuing on the subject of ‘Maya’ or illusion, man is aware that all temporary ‘inferior life’ forms essentially, apparently, are store houses of energy in the eyes of the one who is higher up in the food chain. And, therefore if he were to pause at this stage itself for a moment, he could logically reach the conclusion the ancients appeared to have done, after realization of the fact that our planet earth itself is over 4 billion years old today, i.e., if not permanent, it is near permanent - having a life-span much greater than that of all 'animal life' forms on it, which is near 100 years in humans and a few thousand years for some ‘plant life’. In fact, there thus is no comparision at all. He, himself, therefore could thus be such a storehouse for the members of the solar system, as represented through the ‘chakras’ or ‘bandhas’, i.e., ‘locks’ of the essences of energy and informatin stored in ‘grahas’ or 'planets' in each human body...
The ‘wise’ ancients, or the Yogis, appear to have gone relatively deeper maybe because they had more ‘time’ on hand - particularly those who managed it by withdrawing to the secluded regions of the Himalayas with the specific purpose of search of the ‘Truth’/ ‘Absolute Truth’, which needed still greater effort in reaching the essence of integrated knowledge...
Travel to regions that are far away from the maddening crowd, therefore, itself is like ‘time travel’ or travel in to the ‘past’… They thus had more time, which the day-to-day life apparently doesn’t allow due to shortage of time on account of greater time consumed in the ‘rat race’. And, even if present day man manages spare time, he apparently wastes it in infructuous pusuits, perhaps ‘naturally’ - as seen through the eyes of the ancients, which was explained by the anticipated lowest human efficiency in Kaliyuga - almost zero towards its fag-end…
In fact, if one had faith in the ancient ‘Hindu’ beliefs, one wouldn’t need that much time as our predecessors apparently took, for their findings are readily available in mythological stories…However, although ‘material forms’, as per the ancients’ findings is mere illusion, if one just reads the stories ‘between the lines’, with the help of ‘present’ day findings as the background, one can at least see the hidden meanings in those to reach the 'truths' of the 'untruths'. For example, the statement, “Mother Yashoda saw the universe in child Krishna’s mouth,” could help an ‘astronomer’, who isn’t a ‘slave of time’, to appreciate how it could be referring to the physical forms within the void of the universe…Alas! The 'wheel of time' apparently permits only a few ‘to rise above time’, thus they are helpless, particularly the ones who hold 'higher ranks' and therefore expectedly have higher ego :-)
Hi Kavitha, Felix…
It is believed, to the effect, that God created the Heavens and the earth in six days and rested after that (on Sunday)... As per 'Hindu' belief, His one day itself, of course, is equal to about 4.6 billion 'human years' followed by a night of equal duration :-)
The mischievous nature of the ‘unborn’ Creator can also be observed by seeing the numeral ‘2’ and its images in mirrors...
We had earlier seen how it could result in an ‘optical illusion’, i.e., visualizing ‘anar’, a Diwali firework, or even a volcano of which the ‘anar’ could be said to be a model, when the mirror is placed against the end of the bottom horizontal line and tangential to the arc at the higher level…
Now imagine placing the mirror at the beginning point of the upper arc and its meeting point with the horizontal line at the base… I see the resultant figure of two swans with their beaks touching, or a human heart - both, symbols of love :-) And, the whole figure seen together with its inverted image on a horizontal mirror shows me a figure of a moth that sits with its wings open, or a butterfly that displays its colours and design pattern, when seated on a flower (reflecting a sense of 'made for each other'), by alternately opening its wings for a short time and then closing those to attract one’s attention, or flutters those when in flight, (I recall how we used to chase and also catch some of those in our childhood – and as a grown up I have appreciated the aesthetic sense of the Creator, watching various beautiful patterns by use of just, say, black and yellow colours :-) Because of its thin population and virgin forests Bhutan has a large variety of these. They also have a museum where these varieties are displayed… Indicating the ecological balance in ‘Nature’, ‘Environmentalists’ also give reference of a butterfly, i.e., ‘if a butterfly flutters its wings at some location it would have some impact on some other location in the world’…
Hiya,
That reminds me of one of K's amazing poems about the vision of the flame that capitvates entirely... the flame seen on a divine lamp, extending towards all infinity.
:) , Yes the one on Lingodhbhava.
Life interwoven so intricately, one belief with another... hmm, Uncle you remember the theory of a Interwoven Sphere I once send a mail about?

Hi Felix,
As I said earlier also, the ‘unborn’ is understood by the ancients to reside within each human form – and it believably is the real doer while giving impression to each as if he/ she is acting on one’s own. This also could be said to be the outcome of ‘Maya’ or illusion…Everyone, although, anyway, knows that thoughts aren’t under one’s control – we can’t switch them off as we do to the apparently man-made equipments, such as, radio, TV, electric bulb and so on (reflecting its imperfection at some stage in the past at the given location), perhaps because the control lies elsewhere…
In my opinion, each one of us reflects or represents some features in its life at some given time and location in the past, when it, the spirit, hadn’t acquired ‘perfection’ in the ‘material field’ also. And, it is perhaps enjoying in the ‘present’ or the apparent time all the pains and pleasures it went through in the various paths of its progress through different characters – like its images apparently experience the variety of emotions within their heads or imagination of those 'as they apparently happend in in the past'…
The surface of Earth, which believably is a model of the universe - whose outer surface today is understood as a thin fabric of the expanding balloon - can also be imagined like a fabric made of thin strings. The variety of its weakness/ strength at different places can also be visualized with the help of, say, existence of ‘quick-sand’ at certain places, where animal forms are sucked in under the surface as a tear in a fabric can’t hold grains of cereals, for example, and appearance of Mount Kailasa from below the bed of the ocean at a certain point of time, and so on…
Hi Felix, Kavitha...
I just thought of adding that when we find entry into a museum, we find displayed therein creations representing the status of art/ workmanship that existed at a certain location at a certain period of time through some typical specimens... Similarly, on earth, and beyond also, we find innumerable variety of specimens pertainig to different time period and also age - from absolutely temporary and short living soap bubble to about 4.6 billion years old sun/ earth, which is still going strong. However, on a certain scale it could be said to be as old as a middle-aged family man (like idols of Shiva's family in Babulnath temple in Mumbai :-)
Makes me want to reason the question again:
Why are we all here?
Why do we still believe in good things when there is none around us to feel?
Why are we striving so hard when we know everything we work for is as passing as it is?
Why do we regard certain things greater when everything is a part of the Greater?
Why are there somethings that we can never explain, know we can never and yet we try?
Why do we smile?
Why do we cry?
Why are we what we are?
Why do we need to know these answers?
:)

Hi all...
I know that I am an image of the formless Creator at some point of 'apparent time' in the past, like all others are. The pertinent question, therefore, which apparently hasn’t been replied at any time by any of its images - even by the most advanced ones in the ‘past’ - is: Why is the ‘unborn’ and unseen Creator viewing the drama of apparent innumerable forms since ‘apparent time immemorial’? What is it looking for in the various permutations and combinations?
Those images that do not tire finding faults with others (even God itself), and are proud of their ‘original work’ in variious fields, perhaps should speak now, before it is too late :-)
They shouldn’t remain mute spectators…
Best Wishes!
Hi Felix…
Earlier, on a few occasions I have already described the transformation of a massive star, towards its apparent fag-end, in to a more powerful Heavenly Body, called ‘Black Hole’ – first by radial pressure becoming relatively greater than its gravity, and thus the matter undergoing explosion, the resultant debris getting scattered all around it. And later, with the release of the pressure, gravity becoming effective and resulting in implosion of the debris, which eventually results in a Heavenly Body with super gravity and near zero mass - one such believed to occupy the centre of our galaxy also…
Can you see this 'scientific' phenomenon apparently also mutely communicated with the help of the ‘History of India’ (a country that had remained in a state of continuity, unchanged under various ‘foreign’ rules over thousands of years – credited to ‘tolerance’ of its populace. Thus, it had grown more and more ‘massive’ as time passed. And the human systems that were in equilibrium for long virtually disintegrated to result in a new and smaller ‘India’, West Pakistan and East Pakistan, at some stage. And the process apparently still being in progress – as is being seen in the division of different members of the 'Indian' communities belonging to different castes and creeds, and so on)?
Hi Felix,
Let me try an answer to your queries about the existence of opposites in ‘Nature’, viz., why do I smile/ cry? Etc. first...
It is a common observation that in winters in cold places just standing in the sun and directly receiving heat from sunrays generates a feeling of pleasure, and could bring smile on the face of an individual. Similarly, a hungry man, irrespective of his location or time, feels satisfied and happy when he takes in energy indirectly though matter – so also in the case of receiving energy through central heating/ AC, inside one’s home, in winter days/ nights…
On the other hand loss of energy/ material possession generates unhappiness, which in certain cases, particularly in the ‘weaker sex’, often might get expression in the form of tears rolling down the cheeks of the individual concerned… However, one need to be judicious for, call it ‘Maya’ or illusion - an expression used to indicate the mischievous nature of the ‘unborn’ Creator - these might just be ‘crocodile tears’ only. Or, a ‘strong’ person, like a poker player, might not let others know his mental condition even under deep distress :-)
The ‘wise’ ancients realized man to be a mere ‘instrument’, each one - like a ‘magical mirror’ - showing a different ‘image’ of the formless Creator… Therefore, one would need to enter the brain of the formless Creator (maybe like a printed circuit, but in energy form and therefore unseen) to know what it seeks through the innumerable images including the ‘intelligent images’, called man – just as it finds reflection in man wanting to create perfect ‘intelligent computers’. And, just as man finds it almost an impossible task, to be performed within the limited time on hand, perhaps it also finds it an impossible task to achieve its own ‘true image’ and therefore perhaps the unending quest :-)
Hi Felix…
I don’t know if I have been able to present enough data to prove that man is a ‘mere instrument’, and thus helpless… Some more words, as my final contribution towards the blog, are given below in support of the above...
As I have indicated many times earlier, ‘Brahma’ represents our Sun the ‘Suryanarayana’, the apparent central figure in the Solar system as the sole supplier of energy that makes the planetary system revolve around it, including Earth, the most evolved among those and therefore all energies primarily directed towards its sustenance… I have also indicated how, with the passage of time from perfect age, Satyuga, when 100% utilization of its potential is believably reflected through human forms at its beginning, to the imperfect most age, ending in zero utilization at the end of Kaliyuga (time travelling backwards from the peak to the original starting or zero point in terms of ‘material’ forms and the utilisation of potential)…
The word ‘Brahmin’ has obviously evolved from ‘Brahma’ or a model of our sun in human form… It is obvious that at the end of the ‘Kalchakra’ or ‘time cycle’ every ‘Abhimanyu’ would enter into the battle but ‘lose his life’ - along with others as they also are dependent on them but unaware of it due to lack of knowledge -fighting against 'Rakshashas' or models of Venus and Mercury (blue and ultra violet rays, i.e., the characters represented by Dronacharya, the mature adviser in Duryodhan's Cabinet in ‘Mahabharata’ ), as in the present battle of the Castes that was initiated after achieving ‘Political Independence’ from British, the representatives of Sun or the ‘Brahmins’ who ruled like the sun for long, while time headed towards ‘zero material’ and 100% ‘spiritual’ or the original beginning of the material advancement at some stage with the appearance of the Solar system…
Hi Joshi uncle, the word brahmin actually means "one who has realised the brahman(the supreme self). It does not represent any Kalachakra as you say.
Hi Aswin,
I had thought that was my last contribution :-)
As per the definition, "one who has realised the Brahman (the supreme self),” don’t you think we have lost the right to be called ‘Brahmins’? Do we come under the category of OBC then?:-)
‘Hindu’ mythological stories - copied over long duration of time and perhaps also modified from time to time - have words which have been randomly used. We have ‘Brahma’ the Sun (or ‘Aditi’ the number one Heavenly Body, the source of white light or his consort ‘Saraswati’) along with its other ‘images’ in the forms of seven planets and seven colours as their essences, as the apparent cause of the temporary ‘animal forms’ (on earth, i.e., ‘Shiva’ the ‘most beautiful’ and also the ‘perfect one’, as a part of ‘Mahashiva the selected members of the Solar system); and, ‘Parambrahma’ (whose model 'Brahma' is addressed as ‘Suryanarayana’ also in the Satyuga; as ‘Rama’ in the Tretayuga, as ‘Arjuna’ in the Dwaperyuga, and so on) the supreme (formless) Creator of the physical forms or ‘Heavenly Bodies’ in the entire universe (whose intelligent most model in the physical form in Satyuga is the ‘Black Hole’ at the centre of our most evolved of all galaxies, referred as ‘Kali’ at the core of of earth or the 'heart of Shiva', as Bharat in Tretayuga (who ruled with ‘Rama’s slippers on the throne’), as ‘Krishna’ in Dwaperyuga, and so on. Numbers of different forms of ‘Krishna’ refer to the innumerable galaxies that fill the void of the universe, each concentrated at the centre of different galaxy, that is each as the ‘real doer’ in so far as the physical forms’ behaviour within the concerned galaxy is concerned and whose representative in the Solar system/ human form is the planet Mars/ its essence at the ‘Mooladhar’...
For the sake of explanation, the formless Creator could be considered as the Super Computer that has all the information recorded in it, and man being realized as its model also has it in his brain, but due to the characteristic property of 'apparent time' created with the appearance of the Sun, the information isn’t released to all human forms at all the times. It believably is availably fully only at the beginning of the Satyuga… However, the 'real time' for the formless being zero, any model or a Brahmin' could develop direct link with it via Ganesha/ Hanuman the 'trouble shooter' :-)
:) Thank you Uncle for the infintite perspective :)
